Australian-American Energy Company, LLC (AAEC) and the Crow Tribe of Indians (Apsáalooke Nation) of the Crow Reservation are working together to develop an initial first stage 50,000 barrels per day (BPD) Coal-to-Liquids (CTL) Project located on the Crow Reservation in the state of Montana (the Project).
The project scope includes the development of a new surface mine to supply the initial 400 million short-tons of coal feedstock required for the first stage Project over a minimum 30-year life of the plant.
The coal gasification and syngas conversion process is being designed with the latest commercial clean coal technology including CO2 capture that will yield an environmentally responsible project with significant economic returns for its investors. Total coal resource involved will be over 2.0 billion tonnes.
